Mexican Cartels V.S United States Military???

Submitted by David Borden on
Many Americans believe that the war on drugs on Mexico is their problems not oursited States is involved way more than they think they are. There have been over 20,000 murder cases in Mexico since 2007 all done with guns that there is a 90 percent chance that they came across the border from the United StatesObviously Mexican Military officers and border patrol are not controlling the situation, since the murders and violence have gone up in the last couple of years. The country that the drug cartels in Mexico export to the most is the United States. Over 40 percent of Americans are abusing Marijuana. Also the cartels in Mexico have way too much power and money that literally control police, military and even government officials. How can Mexicans feel safe anymore if organizations such as The Zetas (a gulf cartel hired a group of former corrupt elite military soldiers), These men actually play as the hit-men for Sinaloa Cartel. Also Major drug traffickers are gaining too much power and money as it is the case of Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman which the man mad the Forbes top Mexican millionaires with a net-worth of $6 billion to $19 billion. To add there is also a couple of street gangs in the United States that are working along with drug cartels in Mexico. Street gangs such as the Logan Heights gang members of San Diego are actually going neck to neck with the Mexican Military for the Tijuana Cartel. The Mexican cartels will recruit gang members and take them down to Tijuana and train them with excellent military tactics and sophisticated weapons. If the United States doesn't get involved I believe that these massive drug lords will take over Mexico just like Pablo “El Padrino” Escobar did so in Columbia in the 1980’s. There is only one thing that separates the Mexican drug cartels from Pablo Escobar and the Medellin Cartel is that The Medellin Cartel made much more money and that they actually tried to better their community also one fact that we have to consider if you had illegal drugs in the 80's it can traced back to Pablo Escobar because he the only major drug trafficker in the world. The cartels in Mexico actually have it harder fighting of Mexican officials and rival cartels. Its only a matter of time before one cartel stands and becomes greater than the Medellin Cartel because all the corruption in Mexico. The only way to stop the horrific violence is to get the number one ranked military in the world which is The United States Military which also terminated the illegal drug trade in Columbia,
